Getting Pre-Qualified With A Reputable "Local" Lender is KEY

Before we start the home shopping process you will need to have obtained a pre-qualification from a reputable lender.  We encourage you to work with a  local lender as our buyers have had much better experiences working local. Having your pre-qualifcation local and ready to go makes you a stronger buyer!

When you go to meet with a lender, you should be prepared to provide the following information so that they can provide you with the best mortgage loan to fit your needs and individual situation.

  • · Income Documents - Paystubs, 1099’s, Pension Statements etc.
  • · Asset Documents - Bank Statements, Investment Statements etc.
  • · Tax Documents - Tax Returns, W-2s

Mortgages come in nearly as many varieties as wallpaper.  Selecting the right loan for your specific needs depends on your financial situation.  There are about as many loan options out there as there are lenders and it can be very confusing knowing who to select.  It’s an important decision and one that could prove to be costly if you select the wrong lender.
